ADEM is an acronym for Assembly District Election Meeting which is the meeting in even numbered years where 14 delegates and 1 eboard member are elected from each assembly district in California. The CADEM bylaws require gender equity, so there must be 7 SIF and 7 OSIF.
ADEM is sometimes incorrectly used to mean the delegates who are elected at the ADEM. The correct term for delegates elected at the ADEM is Assembly District Delegate (ADD).
